Old Florida Beach House on the Quiet North End of Anna Maria Island

The Seaside Sanctuary is the ground level unit of a beachfront duplex. The front yard is literally thirty steps from one of the most pristine beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. If you open the windows at night, you can hear the rolling surf and smell the salt air. The house is located on a quiet residential street near the north tip of the island. There is no public parking in this area so you pretty much have the beach to yourself. The front deck features plenty of seating and is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The back yard has a shed filled with beach gear, a BBQ grill, picnic table, chiminea and a sun sail shade. We welcome well behaved dogs and have a fully fenced yard for your pup to play. The house is light and bright with a multitude of windows. Everything is decorated in a fun and classy "seaside" style. We believe in a good night's sleep so we invested in high quality memory foam mattresses, crisp, clean linens and plenty of pillows. For the chef in the family, there is a fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook and serve most meals. Nothing is more annoying than going to a vacation home that has only one pot and 3 plates! The house has high def smart TVs, bluetooth sound bar for streaming your favorite music and lightning fast wifi throughout. We are neat freaks so you can expect the house to be immaculately clean. In fact, we do a full deep cleaning after each guest. We tried to think of everything so you have all the comforts of home. The Village of Anna Maria, on the north tip of Anna Maria, is the best part of the island. It is known for beautiful beaches, breathtaking sunsets and a bunch of really nice people. Not surprisingly, our number one recommendation is to set up an umbrella, plop down on a beach chair and watch the waves roll in. If being a beach bum is not your thing, you can stay busy by hunting for seashells, building a sandcastle or trying your hand at surf fishing. Either way, we provide all the equipment and recommendations to make your day at the beach relaxing and enjoyable.

Book it, you won’t regret it. Perfect location; just a few feet to the beach. Well stocked; we only packed our toiletries. The house included the beach umbrella, chairs and even toys for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication was great from check in to check out. We’re looking forward to staying here again.

This place has everything you would need for a great time at the beach. Easy access to the beach, close proximity to restaurants and shops. It even had tons of beach toys for the kids to play with, umbrellas, chairs, pretty much anything you’d need for playing in the perfect white sand and crystal clear water.

Great location! Quiet street and steps away from the beach. Within walking distance to The Sandbar, The Donut Experiment and Poppo's Taqueria, all of which we recommend but go early or there will be a wait. We did not even hear the tenants upstairs so no concerns with it being a duplex. Plenty of beach chairs and floats for both units to share. Stephanie was great and very responsive!

The location is just great. It’s steps to the beach and you may not have view of the beach from the house but you are very close to the beach. Stephanie is a great host. She was prompt with communications and very supportive of any requests. Had a nice goody bag for us when we came and well stocked with everything you need in the house. Also had beach chairs and umbrella etc which made it so easy. Just note that it is a slightly older home but maintained very well. Most of Anna Maria has mostly a bit older homes. Lot of passion of host shows through in the place.

Seaside Sanctuary was Awesome! Literally, seconds to the beach and the most beautiful Sunsets! Seaside Sanctuary was the best, was clean and just as described in listing, literally just a few steps from front door and your on the beach. If you want a worry free vacation just call Stephanie. Stephanie was a terrific host, very responsive! The house was spotless, well equipped with anything you might need, and in the most perfect location....just steps to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and taking in the sunsets on the beach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to visit AMI!

Unbeatable location - only footsteps away from a non-crowded area of a beach with super fine sand made of quartz, and water that was crystal clear, warm, and full of fishes swimming around you, while various types of birds circle around the area. The AirBnb is clean, fully thought out, stocked with all the kitchenware and beach equipment you'll ever need. The area is quiet, safe, and surprisingly has a lot of great food options (and we're foodies from NYC). Definitely would return, and recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach trip or just visiting Florida!

This is the perfect place to stay in AMI! It’s in a quiet area, just steps to the beach and very close to Pine ave! We visited during a busy time but the beach we walked to from the house was far from being crowded. Host was very accommodating. Wished we could’ve stayed longer!!

Fantastic location!!! We added a bonus day to our first trip to AMI and really appreciated so much about this vacation property.

Stephanie was extremely responsive and accommodating to our situation and worked hard to provide early access as we were in between stays. Check in was very detailed and thorough.

The house had many special touches such as a welcome treat for our dogs and cold bottles water/soda! The location is fantastic, literally steps from the beach.

After staying near Holmes Beach the previous week, we really loved the quieter end of the island and the house being at the end of the street, so no traffic. We enjoyed a nice carry-out dinner on the front porch with a lovely breeze! Yet the location is still close to Pine St shopping and area restaurants.

We had such an amazing and relaxing stay at Stephanie’s Airbnb. The location is unbeatable! The street is very quiet and the house is only about a thirty second walk to the beach. We also loved that beach supplies were provided. This made our beach days so much easier! Stephanie is also quick to respond and very helpful. We hope to come back and visit again soon!

We loved our stay! Stephanie was a fabulous host. She was quick to respond to any questions we may have had. Check in and check out was easy. The house was perfect for our family of 6. It was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The swim toys, sand toys, umbrellas and wagon were such a nice bonus and made the trips to the beach even more fun for our kids. Great location to the beach and local food The house was spotless and in the perfect location for a relaxing beach vacation. It is well equipped in the kitchen and for the beach (toys, towels, umbrella, and more). Walking distance to a great coffee shop and taqueria. Stephanie was friendly, helpful, and very professional. We will go back this year. I stayed with my spouse and 2 children ages 4 and 7. Lovely place for a nice family vacation.

This house was perfect for our 3 night stay. It is so close to the beach path you can practically see the water from the house. You feel like you are directly on the beach! The neighborhood is quiet and people are friendly. The house is really clean and well stocked with cooking supplies, towels, extra blankets, pillows, and tons of beach stuff. It’s a short walk to a Main Street with lots of restaurants and shops too. I love that it’s a duplex too. We may rent the entire house down the road for a larger family reunion vaca. Great stay!

Stephanie’s place is great, exceeded our expectations for a 3 night getaway with family. The house is charming and the kitchen is renovated and equipped to make all your meals at home! We especially enjoyed the margarita machine. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean, and the walk to the beach is 3 minutes tops. We can’t wait to book our return!

This unit was a great location on Anna Maria! The place has everything you need, including beach towels, chairs and toys for the beach. It was just a few minute walk from the unit to get to the ocean. The beach was calm and clean - was perfect for little ones to play in the water and sand. Restaurants and shopping was about 7-10 min walk or a short drive. The host was very accommodating and quickly responded to any questions.

Great location right off the beach. The house is beautiful and just makes you feel at home with all of the personal decorative touches. There is also a shed out back stocked full of beach chairs, umbrellas, and water toys for the kids. Not only was it close to the beach, it was within walking distance of the Island Donut Shop, a nice little pizza place, and also the ice cream / general store. Our family made wonderful memories in this home.

We hebben super genoten van dit zalige huis! De communicatie met Stephanie was vlot en hartelijk. Het huis is comfortabel, gezellig, en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt, inclusief strandmateriaal. Het witte strand leek soms wel een privéstrand, zo rustig is het. En het is echt maar enkele stappen verwijderd van het huis. Er zijn fijne restaurants in de buurt, een doughnutshop om de hoek, en voor de rest ligt het huis centraal genoeg voor uitstappen. Een dikke aanrader! Bij een volgend bezoek aan Florida kom ik zeker terug en boek ik zelfs langer...

Cannot thank Stephanie enough for her hospitality during my family’s stay at Anna Maria Island! We had a late arrival due to flight delays and she left the light on for us upon arrival. The house and location were perfect, super clean and more than enough space for a family of five. You could walk to the beach in no time and had plenty of restaurants/ shops within walking distance also. The umbrella and chairs were a wonderful addition, along with the margarita maker! We had a wonderful time and will be staying again during our next visit!

This house has a perfect location. It’s in a largely residential area, so it’s quiet, but access to the beach is literally outside the door, and it’s only a short walk down the beach to an amazing bar and restaurant from which you can watch the amazing sunset. The host, Stephanie, has put a lot of time and attention to all the small details—pretty much everything you would want was there! And Stephanie provided just the right amount of communication to make sure our visit was the best possible. Definitely 5 stars!

Had a fun girls weekend at Anna Maria Island. The beach house suited all our needs, and close proximity to the beach was a big plus. The house is very comfortable with a large kitchen, laundry facilities on-site, beach accessories, and more. Some shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Everything you would want in a beach house, especially so close to the beach! We loved the terrazzo floors that were cool and easy to keep clean. The entire space was spotless, the kitchen well equipped and the and the cozy nicely decorated bedrooms were very comfortable. So many nice, personal touches throughout the house. On a very safe street for kids and bikes. We look forward to coming back!
