THINGS TO DO

Here are some of our favorites

BEAUTIFUL WEATHER AND BEACHES

Say the word Florida and most people imagine white sand beaches, clear blue sky and lots of sunshine. It's true that we are blessed with gorgeous weather most of the year. The summer can get warm, but thanks to coastal breezes coming off the Gulf, not uncomfortably so. In the winter, there is no place you'd rather be. More than 100 million annual "snowbirds" can attest to that. Not surprisingly, our number one recommendation is to set up an umbrella, plop down on a beach chair and watch the waves roll in. If being a beach bum is not your thing, you can stay busy by hunting for seashells, building a sandcastle or trying your hand at surf fishing. Either way, we provide all the equipment and recommendations to make your day at the beach relaxing and enjoyable.

DINING OUT AND SHOPPING

All our rental properties are equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, but let's face it, when you are on vacation, sometimes the last thing you want to do is cook and do dishes. Lucky for you, there are a ton of fantastic restaurants in the area. We have tried them all and are happy to make a recommendation. Some of our favorites include the Sandbar on the North End of Anna Maria Island, The Columbia on St. Armand's Circle and Owen's Fish Camp in downtown Sarasota. There is something for every taste from casual beach fare to fine dining and everything in between. When it comes to restaurants, your biggest problem will be having too many choices. No matter where you go, be sure to try local delicacies such as the grouper sandwich, stone crab claws and mullet dip appetizers.

ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES

If you like to stay busy, there is a lot to do here throughout the year. It seems like there is an art festival or a craft fair almost every weekend. Downtown Sarasota has an amazing farmer's market on Saturday that runs all year long. Mote Marine on Longboat Key is a can't miss activity as is Marie Selby Botanical Garden which is close to downtown Sarasota. Riding a bike or paddling a kayak is a great way to see the area and get some exercise at the same time. St. Armand's Circle has many unique shops and special events throughout the year. Some of our guests like to rent a boat or go on an inshore fishing charter. How about a sunset cruise where you can see dolphins and manatees? Busch Gardens Theme Park is one hour North. Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World are 2.5 hours drive in Orlando. If you want something a bit more cultured, there are at least 5 live theatre troupes in the area. Sarasota has the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, an orchestra, an opera and a ballet. The Ringling Museum has an amazing collection and it is free admission on Mondays.

HIDDEN GEMS & OFF THE BEATEN PATH

Are you the type of person who likes to take the road less traveled? If yes, then we have some recommendations of hidden gems you may want to discover for yourself. Myakka River State Park is 30 minutes East of downtown Sarasota. See what Florida looked like long before all of us arrived. You can hike through a palmetto hammock, climb the tower to the tree canopy and see large alligators in their natural environment. Big Cat Habitat is a sanctuary for lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Family owned and operated, you can get closer to the animals here than you would in any zoo. Dolphin Aviation offers helicopter and airplane tours over downtown, Sarasota Bay and Bird Key. Fly over the beach, then see homes of the rich and famous from the sky. Another great idea is to experience the beach on horseback. The world famous beach horses of Anna Maria have been featured on the National Geographic Channel. This is an adventure you are sure to never forget.

ABOUT US & PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Family owned and operated vacation rental business

Stephanie Fischer

Call or Text (941) 778-4100
A former restaurant manager and flight attendant, Stephanie is in charge of overall guest experiences. Her hobbies are exercise (bikram yoga and F45 are her favorites), playing the piano and spending time with family. Her favorite things include coffee, wine and chocolate, in that order. Stephanie vacationed in Sarasota for many years before making it her adopted hometown.

Mike Fischer

Call or Text (941) 527-6225
Originally from Minnesota, Mike is the General Manager for all of the properties. Married to his sweetheart Stephanie, they have two awesome boys. One is a recent graduate of Florida State University, the other is a Senior at the University of Florida. In his spare time, Mike is an avid, though not very skilled, fisherman.

Rondo

Head of Barketing
Rondo is our 9 pound miniature poodle. What he lacks in size, he more than makes up for in personality. He is in charge of several high profile projects including enthusiastically welcoming guests and keeping the properties secure from lizards, birds and squirrels. Despite all these important responsibilities, he is never too busy to sit on your lap and have his tummy rubbed. If you give him a small morsel of cheese, he will be your best friend.

Property Management & Consulting

We treat your home like it's our own
We're a family owned and operated property management company with a strong track record of success.   If we manage your property, we will see to it that your home is well looked after, provide concierge level service and generate tons of 5 star reviews. If you prefer to manage your property yourself but just aren't sure how to get started, we also offer a consulting service that is designed to get you up and running at peak efficiency.  If you'd like to explore how we can assist with your rental, please do not hesitate to call, text or email.  We are always available and we love to help.
